Florida Trail

Well, just got back from my first Florida Trail hike. Man did we have alot of fun. Bill Williams and I hiked about 15 miles in the Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area. The first day was about 9.2 miles and the second was about 5 miles. Not bad for a couple of 50 year olds.

The first night we camped at the Tiger Branch campsite and had a great fire. Everything went well, except the trail was  flooded in some parts. We even had a small fish on the trail at one point.  No matter, we still had fun.

Didn’t see much wildlife except a few snakes, one turkey and some hawks. Bill hikes all the time but this was my first hike in a few years and hopefully the begining of a new hobby. I’ll keep you posted.
